Here, we love it when April comes around because it's our favorite Taurus's birthday, our very dear Tania!! She's a behind-the-scenes kind of girl, so to celebrate her, we're bringing you this interview. Get to know her and you're sure to grow as fond of her as we are.
First, some quick facts about Tann:

She has a very, very long and secret full name with like 12 names!! For now, I'll tell you she's Tania Barbará to her friends.

She loves everything with cinnamon, especially cinnamon rolls. Also spicy and sour things.

Here we all pitch in to keep the store running, but Tann is undoubtedly the queen of mix & match.
Describe your role in the store:
"A little bit of everything, from chatting with suppliers, paying invoices, placing orders, internal fiscal organization, weekly monitoring of restock needs and direct supplier issues, negotiation talks, catching some of Sofía's ideas and following up on them. Sometimes it's more administrative, sometimes more operational, sometimes more logistical. But always in contact with all areas of the company."
And of course, Tann being a pro at doing a thousand things also applies outside the store. She studied Audio Engineering and Music Production, so in addition to everything she does here, she works on different musical projects, in concerts, tours, and productions. She even has her own musical project and has participated as a musician in different bands.
Why do you choose to stay in this company even though it's a very different industry from what you usually move in?
"I always tell Soff that AlyRo is my home, like it's the root of something that represents a lot of peace and stability in my life. Because the music world has always been a roller coaster, stressful, and sometimes it's about putting out fires and working with different types of people. Since I joined Alcachofa, even without really knowing what I was getting into, it was like: wow, what is this beautiful world of working with beautiful people with cool purposes? and that captivated me. Plus, I love that it was the first time in my life I worked with all women, and I love sharing that, I'm proud of that. I like coming back from a tour and knowing that I can touch base here, with you all. It's a different rhythm. A different pace."
Outside the store, Tann is a rockstar, who always connects us to concerts, music, good coffee, and plays phone pranks on us.
She is fun, witty, and very generous. She always takes care of the team and stands up for everyone on the front lines. To get her full attention, you have to wait about 5 minutes because she's also very easily distracted, but it's always worth the wait to work with her, because she has an answer and solution to any problem.
Everything goes through Tania and Sofía's filter, because they are like one and the same.
We miss her very much when she's on tour, but that "earth" she says Alcachofa y Romero gives her is the same "earth" Tania gives us every time she returns with her excels, her documents, and her checklists; but above all, with her light and fun energy.
