Helloooo, this is Mar, how have you been?
Today I'm writing to you sitting on the floor of the store's fitting room, haha, in a makeshift mini-office. We're remodeling at AlyRo. Maybe by the time you read this, we'll be finished and everything will be more organized (Mariana from the future confirms that we're done, hehe). Being in this situation has made me reflect on movement.
With the arrival of the oar, everything in the shop shifted, and the waters shifted within the team as well. We began to notice some internal errors and noticed things we had (and wanted) to modify for this new phase at Alcachofa y Romero. It was also time to get to work on it.
We know that when we make physical movements, our entire energy also begins to shift. Transformation can be complicated and requires a lot of dedication and time. But once we begin a process of this kind, no matter how costly it may be to sustain, it's always worth it.
Movement is one of the few certainties we have in life. So when it knocks on the door, we will have to choose between the path of resistance or being observant and transmuting everything necessary to evolve alongside change.
With this store remodel, we've reaffirmed our commitment to the roots and purpose of Alcachofa y Romero. We've realized the responsibility we have toward you. It also strengthens our tremendous dedication as a team; a team of cyclical women who don't shy away from change and who support each other to reach a successful conclusion.
After all, the discomfort of transformation only lasts for a moment. But the satisfaction that comes from learning and commitment to the process is eternal. Let's treat each moment of movement as a reset, a blank canvas to create from love, drawing on all our knowledge and being open to being surprised by the results.
