Hellooo, how are you?
Hey, I was just thinking about how the Alcachofa y Romero team has expanded, and we have some great members in this family. But at the same time, there are people on the team you don't know well yet because they work behind the scenes.
So we decided to do these mini interviews so you can get to know us all. It's as if we were your friends, talking to you about work and life.
Today we're going to tell you about Lu, Lucía, our wonderful web manager.

Which aspect of AlyRo's philosophy do you most identify with?
“I really like supporting Mexican producers. I want all our products to be socially and environmentally responsible. And while there will always be big companies, we can make changes from our own perspective that, while seemingly small, are very big in the long run.”
I also “love working with women who want to be better every day and contribute their part to a better world.”
Something we love and are impressed by about Lu is that she always resolves everything in minutes. Nothing is ever too difficult or impossible to do. Whenever we have questions or problems, she comes out with the best attitude to give us options. And if it's something she doesn't know, she investigates, and in a moment we'll have it resolved. We know she has our backs and can trust that she'll be ready to help. She's a firm pillar in the store.
How do you become the most efficient web manager in the county?
"The fact that it's something I enjoy helps me avoid putting it off and want to solve it right away. I like being efficient and being able to help people when they need me."
She does a lot of things in her role as web manager, but her favorite moments are when she takes product photos with Lau (you'll meet Lau in another blog!) and then uploads everything to the website with descriptions and details. She's very detailed and practical, which makes our online store more beautiful and easier to use every day.
Lu says that Artichoke and Rosemary is like “a hug to the heart .” But Lu has undoubtedly been OUR hug to the heart since the first day she arrived.
Without her supporting us, everything would be much more difficult, slow, overwhelming, and a thousand other things. Lucía chooses us, and we choose her.

- Large bergamot candle , smells delicious and looks beautiful anywhere, also makes a great gift.
- Matcha room spray , as you may have seen, I'm a fan of matcha and this one smells really good and also lasts a looooong time.
- Limoncello overalls , it's super cool, comfortable and you can wear it in hot or cold weather (with a long sleeve underneath).
- Tea tree + cedar deodorant , I love that it comes in a spray and it works super well for me, it also smells delicious like everything in the store haha.
